Statement on COVID-19
The Zizzi Team is very aware that the COVID-19 outbreak remains front and center for all of us. The situation is dynamic and rapidly changing. As always, the safety and well-being of our clients, buyers, sellers and additional staff is very important to us.
As we all continue working during this time we are adding additional precautions for everyone.
The NYS Association of Realtors put out a notice that the governor’s office has deemed portions of residential and commercial real estate essential. Our team’s stance is to place the health and well-being of our clients, their families and our families first and foremost.
This new guidance from the state provides us with the ability to efficiently facilitate our pending transactions and make sure that our clients are able to successfully close. It is important to note that a large majority of our job will still be done remotely and in-person showings are still not advisable unless absolutely necessary.
Our New York State Association of Realtors President, Jennifer Stevenson said it best:
“Our industry has been given a great responsibility in this time of crisis to help meet the needs of New York’s residential and commercial property buyers and owners, and the overall welfare of the local and state economy. But our priority must be to the safety of our customers, clients and indeed for ourselves, as we all continue to practice socially responsible distancing that is helping to flatten the curve during this national health crisis. Our mantra must be ‘safety first, work second’.”

Originally the Zizzi Team had planned a Spring Cleaning for the month of March that included a paper shredding/disposal of electronics event to assist in the proper disposal of items around the house. However, given the circumstances with the COVID-19 outbreak, we are delaying Going Green events until further notice.
